First of all, you need to download the latest JAWS scripts. The URL for the
scripts can be found in the footer of each message on this list.
Now, after you have installed the scripts, open Skype and press JAWSKey+F1.
This will open an online tutorial. Hope this helps.

check that the hot keys were enabled.
OK. But how can I manage the rest of the many things that Skype offers? Is
there a JAWS tutorial on the Skype script?
For instance I discovered, by accident, that alt-1 gives a list of
contacts.
I also discovered that alt-2 names previous conversations. The rest of the
numbers don't seem to give me anything!

You have to enable the hotkeys option in order to use alt-page up to
answer
a call. Go to tools, options, advance and enable hotkeys. That should
solve
your problem.

and inaccessibility over the years. The scripts have become essential to
enable me, as a JAWS user, to keep up with Skype. I am very grateful to

I am now using Skype 6.6 with JAWS 14 running windows 7 and I am
struggling
yet again. I may have missed some useful advice on this list but can
anyone
direct me to a set of instructions on how to pick an incoming call (the
alt-page up fails to do it) and other basics, please?
