Actually, no, this doesn't solve the problem. This creates a new problem. Yes it is true that pressing the space bar will not initiate a call, But what happens is when you select the contact the chat input edit box gets focus. all you want to have happen here is the contact be selected in the contact list. So then you can decide what you wish to do with it send a file send it. I am etc. the bottom line here is that the standards are not being followed. Once again, in a list view list box etc. enter performs the same function as the double-click left mouse button and the space bar performs the same function as the single click left mouse button. This has been the Windows standard since time out of mind, and I don't understand why this is not being followed In this instance.
