Belated answer to this one: I have written your suggestion down as something to consider. However, it will not be that easy to do and may not happen for that reason. JAWS JCF files are .ini files with a different extension. JAWS' script commands for handling .ini files rely on Windows support for those files, and according to numerous reports over the last few years, there are bugs in that Windows support that adversely affect any program that tries to write many entries in quick succession to an ini file. There are many entries that would need to be written to the file if I make the scripts update it, so I would have to write my own ini file management code to do it safely from there. The alternative of having the installer do it would also require some code to be written I think, though I have not looked as carefully at that possibility.
