Hi Vlad,
I guess it is the same problem I encountered with my installation of the
same script. I raised up this issue here and Doug Lee, the author of the
scripts is working to solve it. I don't know if it would be helpful to
him to send the error log file that you might have had open in your
notepad application after the installation failed or not. Anyway, lets
wait for Dougs input here! Don't panick though, just install the old
skype version with the appropriate script until Doug finds a solution to
this.

I remember there was a time when we could download a zip file from the
site and install the scripts manually. Sadly I couldn't find that
anymore.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
