I was told that as soon as I receive an incoming call that I double tap
on the answer button. I assume any voicemail changes you make takes
place on the server, so yes this will affect the phone version if so in
this case.

I think the problem may be that the voicemail takes the call after 15
seconds. Probably I should give a higher time or cancel the voicemail, but I
don't see any appropriate setting on my iphone for this. I have this on my
