Here is a bit more helpful advice. Try and diagnose what could be the same on both computers that could be causing the issue. I'e operating system, that is, xp, windows vista, etc. Then have them try to uninstall and reinstall skype. And delete everything including settings. I would use a free program such as revo to do this as it gets rid of any extra crud that's in the system.
