Hi! I admit that I haven't thoroughly explored the new Skype 5.0 for IOS myself, as I mostly use Skype on my PC and simply have it on my iPhone for backup, in case my computer breaks down or I want to use Skype when I'm away from the PC. However, judging from what I've been told, and what I heard in a podcast about it, you won't completely miss out on chats with the new version. I gather they're not read automatically by VoiceOver any more, but you can surely read them manually on the screen, can't you? That's simply a change you'll have to get used to, like the rest of us.
