Ok, for reading unread messages, which can also include last calls btw, use the following procedure: 1. with dougs scripts running, press ctrl+2 to focus the conversations list; 2. scroll the list till you find some conversations which contains unread messages; 3. if pressing enter starts a call, use the other method which consists in pressing the applications key and choose send IM. Alternatively, I noticed that hanging up the call without doing anything will most likely leave the chat window opened; 4. in each case, once you’ve focused the conversation of interest press alt+1 to review the latest chat message. Note that without the scripts alt+1 will focus the contact list insttead, and if using JAWS 15 without scripts ctrl+numbers will read chat messages. Bye!
