Hello, I have been having lot's of problems when opening skype. I would get
error messages and my jaws would freeze up until I alt F 4. Then I would
have to close all the skype error windows and the program and start over.
It would usually take 3 times to ever get Skype to open.
Recently someone suggested I open Skype in a minimized state so, I went to
the Skype icon on the desktop and went to properties in the context menu and
then changed the setting to always open this program in a minimized state.
It has been a week now and since I did this my Skype opens perfectly
everytime as it should.
Hope this can help someone.

Hi Sugar. Go to Tools/Options/General, then find the check box that says
"When I double click or press Enter on a contact, start a call", then press
the space bar to check it. Press Tab until you find the Save button, press
Enter or space, and your changed setting should be saved. You should now be
able to start a call by pressing Enter on a contact's name.
