No; I didn't have that problem with Skype 6.22. But, even with that, I can
still hear it when I call someone, and it's only for a few seconds.
Everything else works, so I'm not losing any sleep over this one. Even at
the low volume, it's quite audible.

Just a very minor issue: when I call, and it says calling Steve, the volume
in jaws goes down for a second or two. But, tabbing to the options or going
to the contacts list while the call's in progress brings it back up to
normal.
The cal info's easy to find as well. So, on the whole, all is well.

Hi guys
I'm not sure which version of skype Octavian is running but i'm using 6.22
and have no problem saving files.
You need to go to options,
Sms and im settings and tab to advanced.
Hit enter and tab round to the automatically save file checkbox.
You can leave it on the skype saved folder or select one for yourself.

Do I just got a notice that a Skype update is available, and I?ve chosen not
to update yet.
The latest scripts I can find is revision 622a.
But, I also found a reference to Revision 892, released December 12, 2014 on
the scripts page, but no link.
Do I need to install version 892 when installing the new version of skype?
Why can?t I find it on the scripts page?

It is pretty annoying because it keeps saying "advertisement" when I open a

Microsoft doesn't offer the Skype Premium anymore.
I am wondering if just buying 5 EUR Skype credit will have the effect of
removing the adds.
Actually, unlike many sighted users, I am not interested in not seeing the
adds, but using a Skype version that doesn't have that "feature" at all.
I added a few MS hosts that provide the advertising in the hosts file to
block them, and I don't know what is displayed, but Skype still speaks
"advertisement".
