Randy,
check out which scripts revision are you running. If it's 886, download
version 622a again from the scripts website, and install rev. 892. That
revision addressed a couple of cases where you can have that specific issue.
Otherwise yes, ctrl+4 is a good way for going to the edit box, or if
using version 622a of the Skype scripts, you can also use ctrl+shift+e.
