I personally don't hear it, but possibly it's just because I have some
Skype out credit...
One other think, just for curiosity...
In the IM Settings, how did you set the "Show compact view for chat
messages"?
I have it unchecked, and I am afraid some friends of mine let it checked
and possibly it does not work for them...
