Dear list. It’s still possible to use Skype with Facebook, but it’s no longer possible to update your Facebook status or read your news feeds in Skype. One can still respond to chat messages sent via Facebook, because they still appear as chat messages in Skype. The only difference now is that, since Facebook contacts no longer show up in the contact list in Skype, the chat has to be initiated by the other person. If you want to start the conversation yourself, you need to go to the Facebook website and send them a private message. Incidentally, Skype Talking still reports status changes of Facebook contacts, even though they don’t show in Skype itself. Hope this helps. They are doing this with several ios apps I use, but I just use the m.facebook.com <http://m.facebook.com> thing so I don't have to use skype to access anything. Take care.
