It's basically a website were they collect numerous Windows apps, including Skype, and they have their own installer which automatically installs the selected app(s) with no need for the user to do anything. I often check out this site by going in the heading that says "Always up-to-date"; by default you will find the latest 5 updated softwares, and after that there is a "More news" link for a full history, or at least larger.
