I installed again the Skype scripts for 622b to make sure the latest version
was present and it asks to uninstall it since some files were already
installed on my computer. It seems to have updated the files. The alt
plus numbers now seem to work; it did not earlier. I used the alt plus
numbers to move around the posts. It does work with alt and numbers though
it works better with the alt plus arrow keys for later messages. How do I
read older conversations? I am using JAWS 17 with windows 7 64 bit and
JAWS professional. Would it be possible in the future for Doug or someone
else in the group to do a tandem session with me to figure it out? I heard
a demonstration from FS about using Skype with JAWS with different voices
and sounds. Where do I find how to do this myself?

What error are you getting? Also paste any log messages you might get so
that the scfript's author might troubleshoot.

Ctrl+numbers read recent chats if you are using the Freedom Scientific
Ctrl+Skype scripts. If you are using my
scripts though, use Alt+numbers to read chats. Alt+Left and Right
arrows also read chats, and these keep your place in a message list
and allow you to read more than the last ten messages. Finally, Ctrl+5
in my scripts focuses the chat message list, so you can then arrow
through chats as you would in a regular list control.

Guys, I unfortunately am unable to find the message right now, but I
am nearly sure that was the first thing that Doug said when announcing
the release of scripts version 622B some time ago...
Anyway, especially for JAWS 17 users, make sure you install version
622B not 622A. On the bottom you'll find 622A which is not the current
one.
