To clarify the answers for you, the alt shift f4 keystroke pressed
twice quickly only works with Doug's scripts.
that keystroke does not work with the Freedom Scientific skype
scripts which are provided with JAWS.
I run both FS and Doug's scripts at the same time and so that
keystroke works very well for me.
Its a lot faster than going through the menus.
I'm using windows 10, the latest skype and JAWS 18 private beta.

It sounds like you're trying to choose what is called the "Close"
option in the English version of Skype. I'm
not sure what language you're using. "Close" is the last option in
the "Skype" menu from the menu bar. You can
reach it via several DownArrows or via one or two UpArrows,
depending on whether you first typed just Alt or a
shortcut like Alt+S.
My Skype scripts do not alter anything that I can see could
interfere with arrowing through a menu and
selecting Close with the Enter key. It is possible this does not
hold true for a translated script version,
though this would surprise me. If your problem is actually that
JAWS, with the scripts, does not tell you the
name of that option correctly, let us know.
I have not tried using Close myself, because I honestly didn't
notice it was there. :) I always go to the
systray icon to close Skype.
