Hi all.
I usually rename contacts when I find out their actual name.
1: Scrool down to contact's name.
2: right click and arro to Rename; Enter.
3: type in the desired name and Enter.
Example: If someone has a long skype name, and you find out his name's Jim,
just follow the instructions above; it should say, Jim says...

I believe its under verbosity. anounce chat name with messages probably a
keystroke to toggle this too, forget which one . ctrl+shift+F1 maybe? off
the top of my head.

There's not an option like that in my scripts, but my solution for this
problem is to rename contacts with
long names on my machine. One way to do this is to press F2 while on the
contact's name in the Contacts list.
You should also be able to do it in the Conversations list but may have to
use Insert+3 to pass the F2 through
JAWS to Skype first in that list.

Hi skype users two questions. first I see the item that says translater is
turned off. how does translater work and why or how should it be used.
also I think it?s when I make a skype call but have seen something like add
Holo lense add on and add a new bot to your conversation list. what do
these things mean. also I am showing skype 32 bit when I am in my task
manager. can I get or is there such a thing as 64 bit skype? if so do I
have to remove the current skype on my machine and would a 64 bit skype
improove the quality of my calls?

Yes, I think renaming the contact is the easiest way to fix it. BTW, I am
afraid that John is confusing with SkypeTalking utility, but if Randy does
not use it this indication is not valid.
Bye!

For the second question, I don?t think there is a 64 bit version for Skype
for Windows, it?s only for Mac. Anyway it will be installed in program files
(x86) if it?s a 64 bit system, so that should?nt be a problem.
I only read now your mail, so sorry guys if someone already answered before.
Bye!
