Hello Tammy, if you use Doug's scripts for Skype, try to use
alt+shift+f4, otherwise see if you find it in the system tray with
insert+f11, press enter on the Skype icon, and choose quit in the
context menu, pressing quit button when it asks for confirmation.
You may also need to go to the Skype options, and in the general tab
press tab till you hear "Start Skype when I start Windows", and uncheck
it; doing this it won't be opened when you start your system.
