When typing a message, in a Skype conversation, I hear JAWS begin to speak in Arabic. I go to menus and they are all in Arabic. I had a sighted friend come over to help me get the language back to English and find the text is in Arabic, as well. He tries to compare his computer?s menu to mine to find the list of available languages, for the change and the menue is different. Matter of fact, now, after the initial Skype Header, is ?System?. Prior to the language change, Contacts was next in line. Now, how do I get this thang back to speaking English? The problem is even greater, as with the new language and new menu, I can?t communicate with anyone. If in a video call and try to send a text message, it doesn?t transmit, nor does anything, from the person on the other end. Can?t, even, turn on my cam by hitting Alt. arrowing right, 3 times, arrowing up 6 and arrowing, again, right, for one tap, to tur n on my cam. Is there an on line easy fix:? How, otherwise, do I get back to English? You mean that pressing alt you don'aren't able to activate your menu bar, or simply that you cannot scroll the menus due to arabic interface? If no one intervens in this time, when I sign in tonight I'll check out how many times you should use the arrows to find the language combo box; for the tools menu, it's more likely that you need to use left arrow, it's possibly required to press it less times. Try pressing alt, then three times left arrow, then one time down and one time right. You should then hear JAWS (or whichever your screen reader is) say "arabic", here you simply press down arrow till you hear english, and you press enter here.
