Hi Stephen,
Let me explain a bit. When you install the scripts, it is installed into the
specific version of JAWS. Therefore, when you upgraded from JAWS 17 to JAWS
18, you need to uninstall the scripts and reinstall them into JAWS 18.

other than install jaws 18, I haven't done anything else. I've been
using script version 6.22B for some time with jaws 17.
since the update, when I press alt 1 and so on I'm thrown out of the
chat window and taken to the list of contacts.
when I press ctrl 1 through to 4, I'm get the prompt; not in a
conversation window.
