That means you already have a default.jss file in your JAWS user folder. There are two common causes of this:
1. You compiled default.jss once via the JAWS Script Manager. This copies default.jss from the JAWS shared folder to the JAWS user folder. If you did this, save any customizations you made somewhere and delete default.jss and default.jsb from the user folder. Do not delete them from the shared folder. The user folder may be opened via Start, Programs, JAWS <your version number>, Explore JAWS, Explore My Settings. 2. You installed another script set that creates or modifies default.jss/jsb in your JAWS user folder. The specific steps to take for this scenario depend on the set of scripts installed before mine. The first of those two scenarios has proven the most common for many years when people encounter the log message you included here, at least according to what I've seen.
