Interestingly enough, last night Skype updated even though I had the
box unchecked. I was updated to skype version 7.3.00105.
and sound quality was good and compared favorably with the old
ersion I was forced to return too. also, I could continue to play an
external mixer and others on the skype call could hear it. So,
somebody, microsoft or skype which is the same thing although perhaps
different teams, fixed something.
Michael give it a try and see if it works for you.
I don't know if Larry has tried updating yet or not.

Hey Michael, but why are you still using Skype 7.0? We're now at 7.30...
I have it so I can make a test, but I did not upgrade to Win 10, I
am still using seven because of some reports of my technician which
I did not like. We probably need to have some reports by Win 10
users, I am not sure if that's the issue since now that I remember
someone else had issues in the past on it.
