I've never had a problem with skype changing languages spontaniously. That
alone is a strange one.

Hi, Frank.
Glad I at least tried to help.
I jus thought of something. Solving the language problem might be a little
different, depending on what language turns up.
It might be just a matter of memorizing how many times to arrow to get to
the languages list.
Anyway, between all of us, we finally solved it. Well done, even if my
solution wasn't the answer.
This is a great group of people.

Thanks, Jerry, for attempting a solution. Michelle, the last time this
happened, but with different symptoms, you gave me the fix. It is different
than Andre? solution, but the results were the same. Thanks, Andre, it did
work for me. I had to arrow around a bit, after right arrowing 4 times
after hitting Alt, for Menu, but found Bulgarian and I knew, at that point,
all I needed do was arrow down to English and Enter. Come to find out,
after my Skype was restored, in Windows 10, I would need arrow to the right
5 times, then arrow down once and hit Enter, whereupon the list of languages
would appear.Thanks, so much , for putting me on the right path, Andre!
The way it, always, happens is, when typing fastwhile in Instant Messaging,
I lose Skype and end up in another program. When I get back to Skype, I
can?t use it and obviously, the language is changed. I almost missed my
most important Portuguese lesson, because, I couldn?t respond to my
instructor, but sending him an Email solved the problem, with about a half

When I do a Control/ 1 I hear Group Window not found and
Control 2 saysWindow not found. When I do Alt 1 :Not in a conversation
window.? Well, that is correct. When I hit Alt to bring up Menus, I hear
Skype, but in arrowing down I hear Skype? S? then Submenue and if I arrow
right, from Skype, I hear Submenue, then Arabic words, ThenSkype for
Windows Then System Restore, unavailable and every now and again, I hear
Chinese. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem? Hugs Frank of cool

Hey Frank, I am afraid your language has been autoset to arabic. Now I
don't remember the correct procedure, meaning how many times you need to
press arrows inside the menus, tonight I'll check this out if no one
else arrives before.

It occurred to me, after tapping alt, then arrowing to the right 4 times,
arrowing down once and arrowing to the right once is the same as arrowing 5
times to the right and down one. In both cases, we land on Change Language.
At that point, hitting Enter will bring up the list and arrowing down to
English and hitting Enter, again, will solve the problem. For whatever
reason, I missed the first Enter and searched around till I found the list
of languages. So, Andre, you were right, of course! Hugs, Frank of very
