Ao editar este arquivo na minha m�quina ele se encontrava exatamente desta mesma forma abaixo: # If defined, either full pathname of a file containing device names or # a ":" delimited list of device names. Root logins will be allowed only # upon these devices. # CONSOLE /etc/securetty #CONSOLE console:tty01:tty02:tty03:tty04 Aqui ele mostra que esta fazendo a pesquisa no arquivo /etc/securetty e este pelo visto tamb�m est� editado corretamente como j� mostrei acima. Neste caso eu fiz o seguinte eu COMENTEI a linha CONSOLE /etc/securetty e TIREI o coment�rio da linha abaixo. Conclus�o: n�o consegui logar como root em nenhum terminal, e da� eu fiz um boot com o cd do Slax para poder alterar o arquivo login.defs para como j� estava antes. Bem, o problema continua da mesma forma ainda, eu n�o consigo logar como root no terminal tty1 e com outros usu�rios eu consigo logar neste terminal. A minha �nica sa�da at� ent�o � qdo acabo de ligar o micro entrar no tty2 para poder entrar como root. Obs. A tecla F1 est� funcionando..... hehehehe.... mas mesmo assim valeu tamb�m pela dica.....
