define os parâmetros do winchester com o hdparm conforme teu winchester
suportar.  consulta eles com "hdparm -i /dev/hda", e modifica os parâmetros
para ver se melhora.  aqui não uso o hdparm pra defini-los, são definidos
automaticamente (provavelmente o winchester + placa mãe entram em acordo).

vou te mandar os meus como referência (pra ver o que ocorre, não pra usar
os meus!)
