Olá.
Está é a primeira vez que participo desta lista. Andei pesquisando e
como não obtive muitos resultados, resolve recorrer aos companheiros.
Sou usuário novo, no linux, principalmente, no Slackware. Estou usando
a versão 12.1.
Objetivo
Fazer o PC-Desktop obter IP. E acessar internet.
Estrutura de rede
Atualmente, está funcionando da seguinte maneira.
INTERNET --- MODEM(VELOX) --- SWITCH ----- PC DESKTOP

ACCESS POINT - WIRELESS
No windows, o PC-Desktop, consegue obter IP automaticamente. O mesmo
ocorre com os PC´s que utilizam o Access Point(AP). Portanto, o modem
VELOX está atuando como DHCP e funcionando 100%.
Efetivo problema
NO FINAL DESTE TEXTO TEM O RESULTADO DE ALGUNS COMANDOS QUE PODEM
SER ÚTEIS PARA AJUDAR NA RESOLUÇÃO DESTE PROBLEMA. (lsmod, lspci,
modinfo, ifconfig, dmesg, ...)
Surge ao utilizar o Slackware. Inicialmente v12 e agora v12.1. Na
versão 12, não conseguia detectar minha placa de rede. Resolvi
atualizar para versão mais recente, e obtive êxito. Nesta nova versão,
tanto a placa de rede onboard(SiS190) quanto a placa offboard(3com),
foram detectadas.
Entretanto, ao configurá-las para obter IP e acessar a internet,
noto que não obtenho resultado expressivo. Já tentei de diversas
maneiras. Desde utilizar o netconfig, na opção DHCP, há configurar
manualmente o arquivo rc.inet1.conf. Ambas, sem resultado.
Peço ajuda dos senhores. Pois, já pesquisei em alguns fórum/sites e
não consegui sanar esse problema. Postei um tópico no fórum
slackbr.org. Lá consta alguns dos procedimentos que utilizei para
tentar sanar o problema citado acima.
