Olá, Ja utilizei com sucesso os dois métodos, tanto o pacote RPM qto o slackbuilds. Em nenhum deles foi necessário criar os atalhos, pois na pasta <desktop-integration> há pacotes RPM que devem passar pelo mesmo processo de conversão para *tgz e depois a instalação. Este caso, como já disse o colega, parece ser pacote corrompido. Mas vou colocar os passos aqui para, talvez, ajudar de alguma forma:
1- baixar o pacote correto para sua arch; 2- descompactar (tar zxvf BrOfficexxxx.tar.gz); 3- entrar na pasta criada OOOxxxx; 4- Entrar na pasta RPM; 5- converter os pacotes com rpm2tgz; 6- instalar os pacotes *tgz; 7- entrar na pasta desktop-integration; 8 -converter os arquivos para tgz; 9 - Instalar apenas um pacote disponível em tgz (pode ser o fedora); 10 - Se quiser agora pode apagar todos os pacotes, limpando o sistema.
