Gostaria de compartilhar uma situaçao e se alguem conhece uma maneira de
solucionar ficaria grato.
seguinte os servidores da empresa funciona com slackware 11 kernel 2.4.33 e
detalhe eu nao posso atualizar pq a aplicaçao da empresa so roda em kernel 2.4
, agora surgiu a necessidade de utilizar modem 3g como link reserva, o modem
que tenho é o HUAWEI MODEL: E1756, com ajuda do usb_modeswitch consegui iniciar
o processo numa boa como segue nos log a baixo, o fato é que a porta de
comunicaçao com o modem que "deveria" ser a ttyUSB0, nao responde.
OBS: FIZ O MESMO PROCEDIMENTO EM OUTRO SERVIDOR QUE UTILIZA KERNEL 2.6 E TUDO
FUNCIONOU.
entao a pergunta é: Alguem conhece uma maneira de rodar esse modem mesmo em
kernel 2.4? existe alguma maneira de forçar a habilitaçao da porta ttyUSB0? ou
no kernel 2.4 o modem responde em uma porta diferente? detalhe que executei o
wvdialconf e nao tive retorno positivo, os servidores nao tem area grafica, so
modo texto.
aguardo qualquer tipo de sugestao.

OBS: o mais curioso é que durante o processo de configuraçao eu cheguei a
