Se você usa um sistema 64bits, precisa instalar o multilib. Também
tente instalar o kernel-source.

No README do slackbuild do virtualbox diz que o mesmo não compila num
sistema 64bits padrão. Eu não testei e sempre uso o instalador direto no
site do virtualbox.
