I don't think this mailing list is appropriate for this discussion at all.
If this were a technical issue then it would have been solved via technical
means.
There is something else involved and my gut feeling is that LL needs to be
looking at who is making suggestions that could cause catastrophic damage to SL
and study why such suggestions are being made.
After all there are other companies that would gain from SL ending. And who is
already a partnered with those companies and why is it odd suggestions are
being tossed in, etc.
Nope, This is not technical. This is global power money politics and it is
company vs company so LL needs to begin evaluating it's trust with internal and
external resources.
Something is just wrong with the picture here.
Anyway angry customers ranting all over blogs and quitting SL etc. is not going
to change an executive decision that had better have considered the
repercussions before the decision was made.
If LL asks this list for suggestions then fair game for a discussion.
