Hey folks,

I've been trying to improve the protocol wiki a little, and i'm looking for some help regarding the TransferRequest message. I've browsed through llDataPacker.cpp but i'm having trouble making sense of what i'm seeing as related to the outputted data.

The "Parameters" part of the message appears to be packed as follows:

14 00 ASSET_KEY ASSET_TYPE 00 00 00

Could somebody fill me in as to the unknown bytes? As i've mentioned on the wiki:

"/I'm guessing the 14 00 might be a UInt16 length indicator (which is different from the standard variable specification which is represented as a UInt8). The three bytes at the end may be flags or padding./"

Thanks

Its listed as variable 2, so yeah, 2 bytes for the length. Not sure what the bytes at the end would be> Might ask John Hurliman/Eddy Stryker if he's worked with it in libmov, or contact Tess Linden on IRC or at one of the AWG/ office hours about it.
