As part of our effort to remove barriers to collaboration with the open
source community, we are piloting some source code branches using Mercurial
at the moment. For details, please see
https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Mercurial_repositories

The advantages to us and to our friends in the open source community are
several: you'll be able to more easily track and merge our source code, and
we'll more easily be able to accept contributions back from you.

Once we have some internal infrastructure in place (to deal with automated
builds, for instance), we will probably be switching open source development
over to Mercurial.

Your comments are welcome.
Sardonyx.
