This file: indra/llcommon/llversionviewer.h ...determines what the viewer is going to report its version number as. That file isn't automatically updated with every checkout/checkin, but rather, gets incremented as an uncommitted local mod whenever the build machine builds a new version. That means when you build, you're going to get something different.
