If settings files are your concern, you should be packaging your viewer 
with "--settings settings_restrainedlife.xml" or something similar on 
the command line like we do for the release candidate viewers.  
Unfortunately I don't recall the specifics of how to configure this off 
the top of my head.  We should work on getting this documented.

I can't be sure how to address your library concerns without more 
details however.
