Can you compile the viewer yourself? It would help a lot if you could pin point the exact revision at which the problems start to occur. Not all revisions are changes to snowglobe unfortunately, you could try a binary search for the following revisions (these are the ones that make a change to contributions.txt) r2580 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-07-31 20:51:59 +0200 (Fri, 31 Jul 2009) | 2 lines r2576 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-07-31 00:57:47 +0200 (Fri, 31 Jul 2009) | 3 lines r2574 | merov.linden | 2009-07-30 20:47:53 +0200 (Thu, 30 Jul 2009) | 1 line r2565 | robin.cornelius | 2009-07-26 18:11:58 +0200 (Sun, 26 Jul 2009) | 1 line r2561 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-07-25 22:35:02 +0200 (Sat, 25 Jul 2009) | 4 lines r2560 | rob.linden | 2009-07-25 18:56:54 +0200 (Sat, 25 Jul 2009) | 8 lines r2559 | thickbrick.sleaford | 2009-07-25 12:44:18 +0200 (Sat, 25 Jul 2009) | 1 line r2558 | rob.linden | 2009-07-24 05:53:52 +0200 (Fri, 24 Jul 2009) | 4 lines r2553 | rob.linden | 2009-07-22 23:18:57 +0200 (Wed, 22 Jul 2009) | 2 lines r2552 | robin.cornelius | 2009-07-22 23:11:13 +0200 (Wed, 22 Jul 2009) | 1 line r2547 | rob.linden | 2009-07-22 02:39:08 +0200 (Wed, 22 Jul 2009) | 7 lines r2511 | nyx.linden | 2009-07-14 19:52:45 +0200 (Tue, 14 Jul 2009) | 11 lines r2506 | thickbrick.sleaford | 2009-07-11 17:31:30 +0200 (Sat, 11 Jul 2009) | 1 line r2502 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-07-10 03:51:23 +0200 (Fri, 10 Jul 2009) | 3 lines r2482 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-07-03 00:11:46 +0200 (Fri, 03 Jul 2009) | 2 lines r2481 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-07-03 00:07:13 +0200 (Fri, 03 Jul 2009) | 2 lines r2480 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-07-02 23:14:06 +0200 (Thu, 02 Jul 2009) | 2 lines r2465 | robin.cornelius | 2009-06-29 23:14:55 +0200 (Mon, 29 Jun 2009) | 1 line r2463 | rob.linden | 2009-06-29 02:53:08 +0200 (Mon, 29 Jun 2009) | 3 lines r2462 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-06-28 00:49:27 +0200 (Sun, 28 Jun 2009) | 2 lines r2461 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-06-27 20:17:35 +0200 (Sat, 27 Jun 2009) | 2 lines r2460 | rob.linden | 2009-06-27 01:44:23 +0200 (Sat, 27 Jun 2009) | 2 lines r2459 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-06-27 00:36:23 +0200 (Sat, 27 Jun 2009) | 2 lines r2458 | aimee.trescothick | 2009-06-27 00:30:08 +0200 (Sat, 27 Jun 2009) | 2 lines r2456 | rob.linden | 2009-06-26 00:18:25 +0200 (Fri, 26 Jun 2009) | 2 lines Binary search meaning: you start with compiling 2580 and test if you crash with a self-compiled viewer (possibly in Debug mode). Then 2451 and test if you don't. Then 2502, and depending on whether you get the same crash or not (a different crash means you have to restart again) you either try 2463 or 2559, etc. -- Carlo Wood <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ Policies and (un)subscribe information available here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/SLDev Please read the policies before posting to keep unmoderated posting privileges
