Robin,

Thanks. I uninstalled 2005 about 6 months ago, but somewhere in that vast
pile of CDs I get from Mother Microsoft every month is an install CD for the
Full 2005. Is it worth looking for or is the express version sufficient.

Currently yes, 2008 is a PITA as is 2010 due to boost. The reason is that
boost consists of C++ libraries which need to be compiled by the version
of the compiler that you are using for the rest of the application, in
this case 2005. This issue is compounded on the 1.23 code base (inc
snowglobe) by the use of a shared CRT.

I would advise using 2005 still, you can grab the express from microsoft
still but you need the initial link/mini setup.exe as that is now hidden.
