In 1.8 news there is a note: Due to the lack of interest, slf4j-android and slf4j-jcl modules have been dropped with no replacement.
I am not sure about the lack of interest in Android. At least I use it in my framework,: https://medium.com/@OhadShai/logging-in-android-ankologger-vs-kotlin-logging-bb693671442a Is it possible to keep it in? Is there any other alternative in android I am not aware of? Thanks, Ohad.
