Hi,
When I look at the codes u have mentioned they didn't give the source
for how the physical connection is established to the server. They just give
it as a class files. WebDavConnection in turn calls to HTTPConnection where
as HTTPClient is an bulk package and as a new to this if I straight away
enter there then I got confused with that.
Another thing when I try to perform modifications to the webfolders it is
working well. But when I try the same with the servlet I got the 409 error
(Conflict). Why it was.?

So, just running the slide war file in tomcat gives you this - I guess you
have tried this much. For example under windows, Web Folders, you can
connect to a slide store, create directories, add/edit files, etc.

Presumably this is in Java.
We did something similar, if you look at the DAVExplorer code, the
HTTPClient and WebDAVConnection classes are really useful for talking to a
webdav server.
