I tried to use the client in the current Slide release to connect to an account on www.sharemation.com <http://www.sharemation.com/> and it fails. Sharemation is using an older version of TomCat (3.3) and presumably an older Slide release as well. The initial problem seems to be with authentication being done improperly. If I hack the code and force it to basic authentication it connects fine. Then when I GET a file, it loads about 1K bytes before failing: Here�s the output: [WWW.SHAREMATION.COM] /~gutz/ $ get MyYahooPager.txt Downloading '/~gutz/MyYahooPager.txt' to 'MyYahooPager.txt': failed.
