Hi Stefano,

great that you found it, as usual, in my environment it worked ;-). You
reported ordering does not work as expected, is that still open?

regards,
Martin

I think I found the problem: it seems that some part of the Slide
webdav layer are dependent on being mounted on "/slide" or any other
path but *NOT* to the root of the application server (as my Jetty setup
does).

Or maybe there is a configuration someplace that I forgot to change.

Using tomcat 4.1.29 and mounting Slide on the canonical "slide"
directory, the problem I was experiencing before with DASL scoping and
lack of live properties on /files disappears and everything works as
expected.

On the other hand, mounting Slide on Jetty on the / directory, makes
Slide exhibit a bunch of weird behavior on DASL. Running the DASL tests
on the two shows a significant variation.

Since I don't have time to investigate this more, I'll switch to tomcat
for now, but we should remember to put this in our TODO list as servlet
container and URI mounting independence is a must feature for any
serious servlet.
