Tomcat 4.1.29 sets HostConfig to final breaking Slide catalina wrappers

While I tried to compile and install the wrappers with the latest Tomcat 
release 4.1.29 (I was using 4.1.27 before) it turned out 
wrappers.catalina.BaseHostConfig tries to extend 
org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig which has become final.

I am afraid I have no idea how to fix this. Anyone, any ideas?
