TestSuite vs. Client

I am very impressed by the TestSuite and the Documentation of the 
TestSuite.   It seems to me, that the TestSuite is more complete than 
the Client, more Capable and better documented than the Client, but 
essentially does the same thing, accesses WebDAV services.

So, it seems to me, that the Client could be replaced by refactoring the 
TestSuite to replace the XML Input to the TestSuite with command line 
input and an API for programatic input such that the full capabilities 
of the TestSuite could be used as a Client to any WebDAV service, 
including Slide.  Perhaps the current Client can be refactored to 
marshal arguments and responses to/from the core engine of the TestSuite?
