would anybody dislike that?
that would give us room for
slide.apache.org/client slide.apache.org/server slide.apache.org/tests
What do you think?
I think it'd be a good idea, but I'm somewhat concerned that the current community around Slide is rather "young". This sub-project has been asleep for a long time community-wise, and only stayed alive (as a code-base) thanks to contributions by Software AG. While the current burst of activity is a great thing, I'm not sure whether the community is "mature" enough to stand on its own feet without some form of incubation. There hasn't been a release since Remy became inactive (a long time ago), there have been hardly any website updates, etc. Of course, now that there's an "old-timer" on board... ;-)
So, what about the "dav.apache.org" idea? The product name "Slide" would refer only to the server/repository, much as it's currently perceived. The test-suite and the client would be clearly separate, WebDAV compliant products.
dav.apache.org/slide dav.apache.org/client dav.apache.org/testsuite
Or something like that.
