jdom needs saxpath at runtime ;-) It is loading the classes via reflection so it is not possible to drop saxpath until jdom is using the right package names (they changed in jaxen).
So: compile/build is ok but slide no XPath-expression can be created.

So I do not understand why you need saxpath.
