My 2 cents as another 170 EG member and slide-dev watcher - anything
regarding the API's usability for existing content repositories or mismatch
with WebDAV would be good to discuss on the JCR public review mailing list
 

How can I subscribe to this mailing list? I'd really appreciate to 
discuss some topics regarding JSR-170/WebDAV.

(particularly if this can turn into potential API changes or guidance on
when/where/how people should think about/use the API). Anything specific to
how Slide might incorporate the API (webdav or slide api layer, etc.) is
probably better off as a thread on the slide mailer.
