There seems to be a bug in this. In XMLUnmarshaller why have you deleted 
this:

>   -        if (revisionDescriptor == null) {
>   -            revisionDescriptor = new NodeRevisionDescriptor(0);
If deleted initialization fails...
I will revert it for now.
