OSAF prefers to have people working face-to-face part of the week, or if not face-to-face, then preferably working online at around the same times of day -- it makes it easier to absorb (and contribute to) the culture and have high-bandwidth communications over requirements, plans, architecture, and to plan meetings. However, for this position, working out of San Francisco is not a requirement.

Hello,
I guess that this position is in the USA.
I was wondering if foreign candidates could apply or not.
I am a software developer (at the University of Rennes 1 - France) currently working on an open source CMS based both on Slide and the portal "uPortal".

OSAF is looking for a server developer to work on WebDAV and (likely) CalDAV stuff. You'll probably be working on Slide, which means that the target language is Java.
