Hi List I'm a newbie to slide and in the moment trying to evaluate whether we can use Slide as a content repository and WebDav-fileserver.
I just wrote a simple test-client that connects to the slide-store and puts some files on it. Everything works fine as long as the files are not larger than about 140 MB, otherwise I get an OutOfMemoryError, when searching the mailing-list-archive I found someone mentioning that "slide tries to load the file into memory". I am currently using the TxXMLFileDescriptorsStore. The question is, is there am limitation, so I am only able to put files on the server which are smaller than my free memory? And if, can this be avoided? The goal would be to add files larger than 10 GB. Any help would be appreciated.
