The only way to shutdown Tomcat runnign Slide is to issue "kill" command. When Slide web application is undeployed, Tomcat shuts down completely correctly. This has been reported by more than three diffrent users in comp.jakarta.tomcat.user newsgroup and at least two users in comp.jakarta.slide.user newsgroup.
