Hi folks,
I'd like to create a Maven-based environment for building Slide and the
different subprojects in the way it is done in the commons project.
This allows managing the dependencies between the subprojects and enables

to build (more or less) independent distributions for each subcomponent.
The next step would be to create some maven-related files and directories 
in
order to provide the required information to Maven.
This will not affect the ant-based environment, it's just an add-on.

So, what do you guys think about adding a Maven-based build environment?
